“Do you ever notice how kind you are to others — yet how easily you forget to offer that same kindness to yourself?” If life has felt busy or demanding, this retreat offers a day to slow down and refill your own cup. Through gentle movement, meditation, and moments of rest that remind you you’re worthy of the same care you give so freely to others. Why Self-Compassion Matters Life can be demanding, and our inner voice can be harsh. Learning self-compassion isn’t soft — it’s brave. It takes courage to slow down, meet yourself honestly, and choose kindness instead of criticism. Research shows it can lower stress, support emotional wellbeing, and help bring more ease and joy even when things feel tough. Somatic Practice We’ll begin the day with gentle somatic yoga — slow, mindful movement and breath to help you feel grounded, supported, and at ease. You’ll explore self-soothing gestures and heart-centred awareness that invite the body to unwind and the nervous system to settle. Guided Sessions Our guided sessions will weave in mindfulness and simple heart practices. You’ll have space to rest, reflect, and gently reconnect with what truly supports you — leaving with tools you can use in everyday life. Silence and Nourishment A homemade vegetarian lunch will be enjoyed in quiet companionship — time to slow down, taste, and simply be. During breaks, you’re free to journal, walk, rest or gentle connect with others. Many people find these quieter moments bring the calm and clarity they’ve been craving. Restorative Practice We’ll end the day with a deeply restful restorative and somatic practice — wrapped in warmth, guided by soft breath and stillness. It’s a space to replenish, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and leave feeling more grounded, open, and cared for. Cancellation Policy

I understand that plans can change, and I’ll always do my best to be fair and flexible. If you need to cancel your place on the retreat or event, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than one week before the event are refundable, with a 15% admin fee to cover costs already incurred. Unfortunately, for cancellations made less than one week before the retreat, I’m unable to offer a refund, as venue and preparation expenses will already be committed. Thank you for your understanding and for valuing the time and care that goes into creating these retreat days.
